Arminia holds the top

Football is back! Two top divisions in Germany are the first in Europe to restart after COVID-19 lockdown. This included Oscar Linner’s Arminia Bielefeld, who drew 1-1 at home to Osnabruck. However, Die Blaunen kept the leading position in the Zweite Bundesliga, after Stuttgart lost away to Wehen Wiesbaden (2-1) and HSV dropped two points in Furth (2-2) conceding a goal in the stoppage time.

Arminia is now seven points ahead of second-placed HSV on top of the table, and next Sunday brings us the clash of these two at Volksparkstadion in Hamburg.
