Weekend round up

The season is still young, but things could not start better for Bournemouth. After Reading lost to Coventry this weekend, the Cherries remain the only unbeaten team in the Championship. Asmir Begović is in a great form, having a huge impact on his side so far. In first eight matches, he faced 25 shots on target and has made 22 saves, turning it into a remarkable 88% save ratio. This weekend Bournemouth draw to Derby County at home (1-1), keeping their place in top five.

Angus Gunn made his full debut for Stoke City in their 1-0 win over Rotherham United at Bet365 Stadium. Keeping the clean sheet was not enough for our Angus – he assisted for the only goal of the day. It was a happy day for Ryan Allsop as well; his Wanderers finally won their first Championship match, beating Sheffield Wednesday at home (1-0).

Blackpool was successful in their visit to Burton, where Chris Maxwell’s side won 2-1. In League Two James Belshaw was in action – Harrogate Town lost to Newport 2-1.

Virtus Entella is still waiting for their first win in Serie B season, but once again they managed to avoid a defeat. They conceded the second goal in 86th minute – it was 2-1 for Brescia at home – but still escaped the loss, scoring the late penalty for 2-2. Danielle Borra was between sticks for Entella, while our Matic Kotnik – who wears AB1 Uno Icon – was on the bench for Brescia.

Michael Falkesgaard’s True Bangkok United is in a crisis, losing five out last six games. This time they conceded a late goal to Port FC at home to lose 1-0. In Sweden, both Budimir Janošević and Marko Johansson play tonight (Monday). AIK is at home to Varberg, while Malmo travels to nearby Helsingborg for the regional derby.
