Weekend round up

Big win for AC Milan and Asmir Begović this week in Rome. Not many considered Rossoneri to be favorites at Lazio, but Stefano Pioli’s side was dominant through whole 90 minutes and deserved 3-0 victory. Hakan Calhanoglu was the one to open the account after 23 minutes, while Zlatan Ibrahimović doubled the lead from the penalty spot in 34th. Ante Rebić replaced him at the half-time, and Croatian striker continued in the same fashion, scoring Milan’s third goal in 59th minute. Milan is now 7th with 46 points, just two less than Roma and Napoli.

Budimir Janošević made his second start this season for his AIK Stockholm against Falkenberg. However, despite AIK being a much better team for most of the match, the hosts had to rescue one point in stoppage time, when Abraham scored and leveled Peter’s goal from 62nd minute. AIK currently sits at 7th place with eight points out of six matches, but only three points behind second-placed Sirius.

Adnan Kanurić was in action this weekend too, but his Sered lost to Trenčin away. Sered had 2-1 lead after 37 minutes, but the hosts managed to overturn that and win 3-2
