Weekend round up

Asmir Begović continues with phenomenal performances this season. For the fifth time in a row, AFC Bournemouth’s goalkeeper finished the game with a clean sheet, once again taking home Man of the match award. After 1-0 win at home vs Wycombe Wanderers in the AB1GK derby, the Cherries visited Kenilworth Road and captured an important point in a goalless draw with Luton Town.

Ryan Allsop had an excellent game for his Wycombe this weekend when they drew 1-1 with Queens Park Rangers. Jason McCarthy’s unlucky own goal put the visitor ahead after 28 minutes, but Anis Mehneti equalised just two minutes before the final whistle.

Speaking about clean sheets, Chris Maxwell recorded seventh of the season. This time he captained Blackpool in a goalless draw away at Accrington Stanley. In League Two Harrogate Town lost to Salford City (0-1) despite a good performance from James Belshaw.

In Scotland, Hamilton Academical was on an away trip to Ross County. Ryan Fulton had a great game, and he helped his team reach second win in last three matches.

In Thai 1 League Bangkok United still struggles with their form. This time they lost away to Rayong FC 1-0, despite a solid performance by Michael Falkesgaard.
