Weekend round up

Do you miss international football? We sure do! Bosnian national team was supposed to play Northern Ireland in UEFA EURO 2020 play-offs back in March, but COVID-19 pandemic forced these games to be moved to October. Before that Bosnia-Herzegovina will play two Nations league matches in September – Italy in Florence on 4th and Poland in Zenica on 7th. Asmir Begović, who collected 62 caps for his country, got the call up and will be with the squad again.

The season is in full swing in Scotland and this weekend Ryan Fulton was in action. His Hamilton Academical FC hosted St. Mirren on empty Fountain of Youth Stadium and lost 1-0, thanks Jonathan Obika’s first goal of the season.

Bojan Pavlović was in action with Borac this weekend. The Banja Luka side defeated Zrinjski 1-0 at their stadium, once again confirming title aspiring ambitions. For Pavlović this was the third clean sheet in four matches this season. Dalibor Kozić was very good in his Radnik’s draw at home vs Široki Brijeg (1-1).

Vittsjo GIK won for the third time this season, this time in very important match against Vaxjo. Shannon Lynn played for 90 minutes and kept the sheet clean.
