Weekend round up

Another great weekend for Asmir Begović who led his Cherries to the second win of the season. Bournemouth defeated Norwich 1-0, and for his great performance Asmir deserved not just Man of the match award, but aslo the place in Team of the Week by SofaScore.

Wycombe Wanderes are still winless in the Championship. This time Ryan Allsop and his teammates were defeated by strong Swansea City side (2-0). Chris Maxwell was between the posts for his Blackpool but the Tangerines lost to Gillingham 2-0.

Michael Falkesgaard played 90 minutes for his True Bangkok United in a loss to Pathum United. This was their first loss of the season, but United stays on the second place, as one of this season’s title pretenders.

Seria B started this weekend. Virtus Entella oppened the season away to Cosenza, where Danielle Borra kept the clean sheet and secured a point for his side in a goalless draw.

Ryan Fulton was a starter for Hamilton Academical this weekend, when Dundee United came to New Douglas Park. The visitors grabbed an early lead after just four minutes of play, but Accies equalised through Hakim Odofin and won an important point.

This was succesuful weekend for Marko Johansson and his Malmo FF. In the match of the week the league leaders MFF defeated second-placed Hacken and extended their lead on the top of the table. Marko was great once again, keeping a clean sheet in 3-0 victory.
