Asmir Begović was with Bosnian national team this week, but unfortunately, they lost the UEFA EURO play-off match to Northern Ireland after penalties. Adnan Kanurić is on Bosnian duty as well; his U21 side will play Germany away.
Tranmere Rovers captured an important point away to Salford City in League Two this weekend. The hosts had 2-0 advantage after only 20 minutes, but Rovers woke up and took over the control, scoring twice in the second half. League One was in action this weekend as well. Jay Lynch’s Rochdale was at a difficult visit to Accrington Stanley, where they lost 2-1. Saturday was a tough day for Chris Maxwell as well, who was on the line for Blackpool at home vs Ipswich Town in 4-1 loss. Ebbsfleet United was a man down for more than an hour against Dulwich Hamlet, but Jordan Holmes and boys managed to win a point with a 1-1 draw.
