Weekend round up

Asmir Begović and seven other endorsees of AB1GK have been wearing special limited edition gloves over the Mother’s Day weekend. The gloves are embroidered with a pink AB1 pattern and feature the date of the games. These gloves have been individually signed by goalkeepers and are now up for auction, with all the funds raised being split between Asmir Begovic Foundation and Gingerbread UK.

Begović wore his gloves in AFC Bournemouth’s unlucky loss to Barnsley on Saturday afternoon, while other gloves involved in the auction include the ones worn by Tom Heaton of Aston Villa, Angus Gunn of Stoke City, Chris Maxwell (Blackpool FC captain), George Long (Hull City), Ryan Alsop (Wycombe Wanderers), Matt Urwin (Chorley FC) and James Belshaw of Harrogate Town. `

The auction will be open until Saturday, and you can place your bid here (link: https://www.matchwornshirt.com/club/asmir-begovic-foundation).
